Community Discipleship

Protecting the Vulnerable

House of Refuge

Curse Breakers Assembly is a 501(c)(3) religious nonprofit and charitable organization dedicated to walking in the footsteps of the early church, as described in Acts 4:32–35. Our goal is to cultivate a Christ-centered community where no one is in lack, believers are unified in heart and mind, and giving is done freely and joyfully, because as the Word reminds us, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.”

We invite the Body of Christ to sow into this mission by volunteering in discipleship, so that together we may bear fruit and multiply our impact across individuals, families, and generations. Our outreach extends beyond our assembly, offering support to those facing hardship. The Lord has called out ministry to the vulnerable. In the Bible vulnerable is also considered the widow. Our ministry's community mission is to house the widow and her children that are fleeing abuse, financial manipulation and bondage. This is not an easy task but just as Acts 2 and Matthew 25, we are calling to the community of believers to assist in ensuring the least of these in need are cared for. We are actively contracting the blueprint with the help of the Holy Spirit of a shelter of refuge and freedom. We are not solely depending on donations towards this intitive but also securing grants and outside funding. Again, this is a very costly project but our God in Heaven will ensure we are able to carry out His will abundantly. No donation is too small or large, we have a beautiful ground of peace and restoration to build.

"Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow." - Isaiah 1:17
